Hi, thanks for visiting my website. I was born in South Africa and am of Hakka Chinese descent. I immigrated to Canada in the early 70’s. I worked in Anne Murray’s band as one of her 2 guitarists for 32 years. She featured me as a background singer and fiddler.

During this time, I co-wrote with Gord Adams recorded by Anne: Somebody’s Waiting, Why Don’t you Stick Around, Only Love and We Don’t Have To Hold Out.

These days, I am concentrating much on playing the guitar, singing and fiddling around the clubs in Toronto with my friends Gary Craig, Russ Boswell and Carlos Lopes in our band called The 501 East. Our debut CD, released June 6, 2024, is called Short Turn.

I am married to a fine singer and percussionist. Her name is Margot Glatt . We gig together as a duo in the GTA as well in the Muskoka area. We go under the name Me and Maggie G. We also have a lot of fun performing shows for older adults under the name Fit As A Fiddle.
